Sending a card for official grading costs money, time, and shipping — and the result can surprise you. A pre-grade is the step in between: a careful, camera-backed condition check that tells you what an official grader is likely to see, before you pay for the real slab.
We are not an official grading authority, and we don't encapsulate cards. What we offer is a transparent second pair of eyes — built on consistent standards and clear photography — so the decision to grade (or not) is yours to make with confidence.
Every card is checked in and photographed the moment it reaches us, so its condition on arrival is on the record from minute one.
Front and back are shot under controlled lighting to surface centering, edges, corners, and surface detail clearly.
We assess Centering, Corners, Edges, and Surface, noting every meaningful defect rather than glossing over it.
You receive a clear condition report with sub-grades, centering measurements, defect notes, and the photographs to back them up.
Your card is packed and returned with care. If you'd like, we can submit it onward for official grading on your behalf.
